2006 has already been a year full of change for me and Kyler. We got married, had a baby... and lots of other little things in between.

To add to the big changes section is a big move. In light of some recent events with family members and work, we've decided to finally move to South County. That's right... we're officially leaving "the nest."

On November 30th we'll have a new place to call home at City Lights in Aliso Viejo. It's a fantastic complex with such amenities as a Fitness Center, Yoga and Pilates classes, swimming pools and so much more. The two big bonuses are that it's across the street from Kyler's office and it's in walking distance of just about everything that we could possibly need.

All in all, this is probably the best decision that we could have made for our living situation. We won't be spending so much money on Gas, the cost of the Toll Road, and we'll have 1 1/2 hours extra per day that won't be spent commuting. It's been really tough commuting with Hayden every day, and making him sit in his car seat for an hour at night to get home hasn't really been working out.

Another big bonus for us living in South County is that we'll be closer to my parents. The only people that I trust whole heartedly to watch Hayden are my Mom and Dad, and living closer to them will mean that Kyler and I will be able to go out together (alone) a bit more.

November 30th can't seem to come fast enough. Since we are going to be out of town over the Thanksgiving Holiday we'll have to do a great deal of packing this weekend. We figure that as long as we can get everything packed in boxes that needs to be in boxes we'll be in good shape and won't have much trouble moving.
