I swore to myself up and down that I was finally going to have plenty of time to do some proper site updates, as well as provide more contact.
But life has happened once again.
Last night, our Air Conditioner broke on the first real HOT day we've had all year. I used it in the afternoon and it cooled the house just fine. Turned it off, went to the pool, came home and turned it on again. Magically, the unit started to blow air that wasn't cool enough! Nice! It's likely in need of more coolant, and shouldn't be a huge fix, but we've got one heck of a hot house until tomorrow some time when the Air Conditioning company comes out.
Then today, my Blackberry broke. I won't even go in to explaining how this happened, and it has nothing to do with the device failing or a hardware problem. I can't even be mad at the person that caused the issue, because really it's not that person's fault. But I've spent the entire day (in a hot house) attempting to do software updates and get my phone back to the state that it once was, all while wiping my sweat mustache!
So throw in the two factors mentioned above, AND the fact that it was one heck of a nutty business day for me and I am once again... without content and site updates.
In the meantime, please excuse me while I sort out my life's technical difficulties. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be a new day and everything will be all better by 5:00 PM!

That happened to me when we first moved in. Turns out that the people who owned the house before had Edison install some kind of energy saver on the AC, so if you use it too much or during peak times it flips a switch. I haven't bothered getting it taken off yet, but I try to abuse free air conditioning elsewhere, like the McD's play area here, and Target, and occasionally the mall.

OMG, I would never install that power cycle thing! Not that we really use our A/C that much (and when we do we keep the thermostat at 76 at the coolest), but with me being pregnant it just isn't an option to not have A/C available!
I think I've retained 5 lbs of water in the last 24 hours...

It seems to just be low on coolant. They told me this morning they will come between 2 & 5 PM so we are off to my parent's house down the street until the service man calls because I cannot stay here today!
And, to top it off... the house only cooled down to 80 degrees overnight!

I purchased columbia fleece to replace one I had lost. I had the other one for 9 years and loved it. I used to bring it with me on airlines because it was so small when packed. I used it as a pillow or unpacked it and put it on when cold. The only change I would have on this new one is a loop that you could use to hang on your belt. My old one had it and was nice. I am not sure why Columbia Jackets took it off. Anyhow, well worth the money.
